On October 17, 2019, the Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment in Ardino held in the municipal community center the final conference on the project in Bulgaria to present the achieved results of the project implementation on both sides of the border. Particular attention was paid to the undeniable benefits and social importance of such partnerships and projects. Especially for the municipality of Ardino, a parallel was drawn between the condition of the material and technical base before and after the implementation of the project activities. In this sense, the implementation of the project in Ardino was realized at the right moment, when the obsolete and physically outdated equipment objectively hampered medical activities. Accordingly, after the investment was made, a much larger range of diagnostics and treatment can be performed on site without the need for patients to travel to the nearest regional city, and medical activities are carried out according to modern requirements.
The Conference was held with the participation of foreign speakers – representatives of the project partners and was held with high public interest – more than 150 people attended.
